(Minimum length 30cm.  Juniors = legal size.)

Flathead Comp (1st Period) 2017 
Saturday Feb 4th 2017 to Sunday April 30th 2017 inclusive

Saturday Nov 4th 2017 to Sunday Jan 28th 2018 inclusive

Shark Comp (1st Period) 2017 
Saturday Feb 4th 2017 to Sunday April 30th 2017 inclusive
Shark Comp (2nd Period) 2017/2018 
Saturday Nov 4th 2017 to Sunday Jan 28th 2018 inclusive 
(Mako, Thresher, Bronzie & School sharks only.) (All sharks must be gutted, head left on is OK)
(Minimum length 120cm.   Juniors = legal size.)  

Gummy Shark Comp: 2017
Saturday April 1st 2017 to Sunday Oct 1st 2017 inclusive
(Minimum length 60cm. Juniors = legal size. Must be gutted, head left on OK)

Ken Wall Fresh Water Memorial: June & Aug 2017
Start 6pm Fri –all Sat - to 6pm Sunday, June 30th, July 1st & 2nd 2017
Start 6pm Fri –all Sat - to 6pm Sunday, Aug 18th, 19th & 20th 2017
(Minimum length 30cm. Juniors = legal size. Trout, Redfin & Salmonids)

Skinny Snapper Comp: 2017/2018
Saturday Aug 5th 2017 to Sunday Jan 28th 2018 inclusive
(Minimum length 30cm.  Juniors = legal size.)

Club Championship: for 2017/2018 


Senior Club Champion is calculated by points gained in each of the above competitions, 
The 10 heaviest fish in each competition will be awarded points. 10 for heaviest, 9, 8, 7, 6, etc.
Only one fish per competitor, per competition, will be counted.
Note: The Senior Brag board will not contribute to the club championship unless it's a competition winning fish.
Junior Club Champion is calculated by 5 points per junior brag board fish plus any competition points gained.
Senior & Junior Champions will be awarded at club presentation night 2018

Rules for Competition Awards and Brag Board recognition are:

1. Competitors must be amateur fishermen & current financial TAC members.
2. Competitions start as per schedule above and conclude at 6pm on designated days.
3. Competition fish must be taken by rod and reel or hand line & comply with minimum lengths as listed above.
4. Competition competitors must launch and retrieve boats from ramps as listed below.
5. Competition fish must be witnessed by an adult club member & must be weighed on clubroom scales, except for 
     away comps that will be weighed on scales held by appointed club member.  
6. Competitors must abide by Victorian recreational Fishing and Marine safety rules and guidelines. 
7. In the event of a club championship tie a count back of rankings of competition places will decide the winner. 
8. Decisions of the TAC Fishing Committee as judges will be final.


Nominated COMPETITION & BRAG BOARD areas to be fished and launched from are: 


Offshore – Launching from all Surf Coast Shire ramps, beaches and Barwon River. Exception for tuna, see below.
Surf Fishing – Anywhere in the boundaries of the Surf Coast Shire
Estuarine Fishing – Barwon Estuary, Thomson’s Creek, Spring Creek and Anglesea River.
Freshwater –Barwon River, Erskine River, Cumberland River, West Barwon Dam, Lake Bullen Merri, Purrembete, Ellingamite and Wurdeboloc Reservoir plusanywhere in Victoria  for Brag Board only.

SPECIAL NOTEFor Tuna Brag board recognition only. All Victorian ramps are acceptable. Tuna not weighed at the Torquay club rooms can be submitted via a photo showing the Tuna on scales with it’s weight and club member visible.
